Suspicious Activity Leads to Two Arrests

A man and minor were arrested at Barney Swartz Park parking lot after police received reports of suspicious activity on Thursday evening.

According to a press release from the Paso Robles police, they received a report of a suspicious person(s) attempting to enter vehicles parked in the lot at Barney Schwartz Park on Union Road.

Officers responded and found a suspect who they detained without incident.

Police allege the suspect, Jesse Lee Wallraven, 26, of Paso Robles resident entered more than one vehicle at the park and stole personal property from the vehicles.

Police say Wallraven was found in possession of the stolen property and narcotics paraphernalia. He was arrested for possession of the stolen property and possession of narcotics paraphernalia as well as petty theft.

Wallraven was booked into the SLO County Jail.

Police also located a 15-year-old male subject in Wallraven’s company who was found to be in possession of heroin.

The juvenile, also a Paso Robles resident, was arrested without incident and booked into the SLO County Juvenile Services Center. His identity is withheld due to his age.
