Pitt School Road Pedestrian Arrested on Drug Charges

DIXON- Lined with manicured hedges and cinder block walls, Pitt School Road is built for cars. Rare pedestrians along the clean, wide sidewalks draw attention. When police saw Steven J. Andre, 50, drop something on the sidewalk as they passed a publicly accessed area along the 1100 block of Pitt School Road, they contacted him.

They discovered the dropped item included, according to a Dixon Police Department spokesperson, “a small but usable amount of methamphetamine and a methamphetamine smoking pipe.” Andre was placed under arrest at the scene.
