Santa Maria Man Arrested on Suspicion of Molestation

SANTA MARIA – A recent two-week investigation by police landed one man behind bars on suspicion of committing numerous lewd and lascivious acts with a minor.

Clive Badi de Comarmond, 40, of Santa Maria, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 1200 block of Logan Drive in Grover Beach for allegedly molesting a child over the course of several years, according to police.

He was booked at Santa Barbara County Jail following his May 10 arrest.

Police are withholding the identity of the alleged victim because he or she is a minor, and authorities are investigating whether there are additional victims.
