High-Speed Chase Ends in an Arrest

A report of a hit-and run turned into a high-speed chase in a San Juan Capistrano neighborhood Monday night.

Victor Manuel Ventura, 31, of San Juan Capistrano was arrested on suspicion of evading deputies by driving recklessly, a felony, resisting arrest, driving under the influence, hit and run and drug-related crimes, all misdemeanors. He remains in custody with no bail amount set.
