An Orange County prep school coach has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting two underage girls.

Police began an investigation into 37-year-old Christopher M. Flores, a coach and trainer at STARS Preparatory Academy, after a 14-year-old girl from Riverside came forward with allegations earlier this month. The victim is accusing Flores of sexually assaulting her multiple times and in multiple locations throughout 2021, including at the campus of Calvary Chapel High School where STARS had held a training program.

Police say the victim even gotten Flores on video asking her if she had “deleted everything,” then asking her on a date. The victim turned the video over to Santa Ana police, who then launched the investigation.

Investigators also discovered that a second victim, a 15-year-old girl, had made similar allegations against Flores to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office earlier this month. An investigation into those allegations is reportedly being handled by Riverside PD.

On Tuesday, August 9, investigators learned that the video conversation between the first victim and Flores had been posted to social media and had gone viral. Two days later, on Thursday, August 11, investigators received word that Flores may be in Bakersfield. Bakersfield PD officers located him sitting in a vehicle on K Street, and took him into custody without incident.

Flores is currently being held on $500,000 bail for multiple counts of alleged sexual assault of a minor. Detectives believe there may be more victims, and the investigation is ongoing.
