Officers were called to the scene to find the 16 year-old male victim uninjured. The victim told police that he was approached by four gang members in front of the store, and that one suspect was armed with a stun gun and another displayed an unknown object in his waistband, thought to be a handgun.  The suspects demanded money from the victim and fled the scene upon receiving money from the victim.

The robbery was also confirmed as a gang related incident.
