Sheriffs Bust Drug Ring Operating out of Budget Inn

The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office Gang Task Force and Narcotics Unit investigators arrested three people and seized drugs during a raid at the Budget Inn in San Luis Obispo.

According to a press release from the SLO Sheriff’s Office, units responded on Tuesday to the Budget Inn in SLO on a tip regarding a narcotics operation.

Investigators say after contacting several people in a hotel room, they found approximately six ounces of heroin, along with a small amount of methamphetamine and related drug paraphernalia.

Three people were arrested.

Lance Anthony Lodolo, 30, of Morro Bay was arrested for possession of heroin for sale and committing a felony while out on felony bail.

Alichia Starnes

Clifton Puett, 36, of Morro Bay and Alichia Renee Starnes, 33, of Los Osos were arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

These drugs were seized by police

Police say they also seized $1,700, a digital scale, meth pipe and a samurai sword.

The street value of the heroin is estimated at $9,000.
