Red Bluff Man Apprehended for Attempts to Steal Dogs and Chase Children

After his attempts to steal dogs was unsuccessful, Timothy Robbins, 22, decided to chase some children for which he was arrested on Tuesday afternoon.

The Red Bluff police was called around 2 p. m. on Tuesday, January 1, near Franklin and Cedar Streets in Red Bluff. Robbins was reportedly trying to steal some dogs and then chasing children. He was also at that time suspected to have a knife on him.

When the police arrived Robbins was acting strangely and was very uncooperative, according to the police press release. Contrary to suspicions, a knife was not found with Robbins.  Robbins’ probation officer was notified and took him into custody on a probation violation.

No one was reported to be injured and no victims were identified.
