Suspect Sought for Sexual Assault

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man wanted in connection to a sexual assault in Antelope that occurred last month, according to an official press release.

On November 25, 2012, at approximately 8:30 pm, a 19-year-old woman was reportedly walking around a school in the 7900 block of Firestone Way. According to the Sheriff’s Department, the victim was approached by the suspect, who engaged her in a brief conversation and after a couple of minutes the two went their separate ways.

A few moments later as the victim walked in another area of the school campus, the suspect reportedly made contact with her again, this time grabbing her and sexually assaulting her. The suspect then reportedly fled the location on foot.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, the suspect is described as a black male adult in his early 20’s, approximately 5’11” tall with a medium build, and had a thin mustache and beard during this incident. He wore a gray, hooded sweatshirt at the time of the assault.
