Children endangered by shot fired at Marin apartment

MARIN CITY – The Marin County Sheriffs reported that on Sunday night, at approximately 10:45 p.m., an apartment in the 200 block of Drake avenue was fired on.

The shooting occurred in this neighborhood along Drake Avenue

According to a press release, a single shot was fired through a front window in the apartment. Deputies responding to the call found a broken window in the upper story bedroom along with a bullet hole in furniture and a wall. It is believed that only one shot was fired, and no one was injured as a result. There were no witnesses identified at the time of the investigation.

The apartment is currently occupied by a family of five, including children. Investigators are trying to determine a motive for the shooting.
