Two Arrested in Citrus Heights Residential Burglary

CITRUS HEIGHTS – A man returning home from vacation interrupted a burglary in progress at his home.  Police say that on July 20th the victim arrived at his residence at the 7100 block of Chesline Drive and spotted a white Chevrolet in front of his house with an unknown occupant.

In addition, he noticed his front door open and damage to the door frame.  Soon another unknown adult ran out of the victim’s house with a  pillowcase filled with stolen property.  The pair fled the area but a neighborhood friend followed the suspects and relayed their location to the police.

Citrus Heights Police then arrived at the reported location.  They detained and then arrested Robert Tucker, 39, and Jesse Rayburn, 31, for residential burglary and conspiracy.  They were booked into the Sacramento County Jail.  The victim recovered his property.
