Milpitas police seeking armed robber

Milpitas police are on the lookout for a gunman who robbed a Dixon Road liquor store Monday night.

According to police, the suspect entered La Noria Liquors at 108 Dixon Road and robbed the night clerk at gunpoint. The suspect fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and the clerk was unharmed.

Authorities say the suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30 years old, 5-feet-11-inches tall and about 200 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt that partially covered his face at the time of the robbery, according to the victim.
