MARIPOSA — On Friday, March 1, MCSO deputies arrested 24-year-old Miles Imamura on suspicion of engaging in a sexual relationship with a minor.
Investigation revealed that Imamura was asking a 13-year-old girl for nude photos and talking with her on Facebook, making plans for a meet-up.
When the suspect first contacted the victim, she did not know him. He also asked her to delete their messages so that he wouldn’t “get into trouble.”
Imamura and the victim reportedly ended up meeting several times.
Deputies interrupted the next planned meeting by posing as the victim and arrested Imamura, charging him with lewd acts with a minor, unlawful sex with a minor, and arranging a meeting with a minor for lewd purposes.
