ALAMEDA -On February 21st three suspects entered the Peet’s Coffee on Webster Street and snatched a purse and a laptop from 2 separate customers and promptly fled the scene. Despite initially being chased by the victims, the suspects were were able to enter a nearby vehicle and speed away.

On May 9th 2 out of the 3 suspects were arrested in Antioch. These arrests are the result of an extensive investigation by Alameda PD Detectives, with additional assistance from Antioch PD investigators, school administrators, and the Contra Costa County Probation Department.

Following the arrest of the 2 suspects, detectives were able to conduct mulitple searches in the Antioch area and although they were able to collect addtional evidence, the purse and laptop belonging to the victims have not been recovered.

The identity of the suspects has been been released at this time.
