Gomez’ car after vehicle chase
GLENDALE – 21-year-old Jorge Gomez faces serious charges and the possibility of life in prison after an incident on December 18th in which he attacked his ex-girlfriend’s infant sister and family.
The Pacoima resident used a butcher knife and a steak knife after breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home to attack her family.
Said attack was followed by a high-speed pursuit and a four-hour barricade situation.
After finally being arrested, police charged Gomez with three counts of felony attempted murder. residential burglary, fleeing an officer’s pursuit and hit and run.
Bail was set a $3 million.
