Paso Walmart robbed on New Year’s Eve

Paso Robles police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Paso Robles Walmart Saturday night.

According to police, the man walked up to a counter in the return area near the front entrance and handed the cashier a note and left with an undisclosed amount of money. There was no weapon seen during the incident, according to witnesses.

The suspect, according to police, is in his 40s, about 5 feet 11 inches and is about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark-blue hoodie sweatshirt with a white Adidas logo, blue jeans, a dark baseball cap and black shoes.

He also appears to be wearing prescription eyeglasses.

The Paso Robles Police Department is requesting assistance from community members who may have additional information about this crime.
