Clearlake CHP Officers Arrest Driver Following Hit-and-Run Collision Investigation
LAKE COUNTY, CA — Officers with the California Highway Patrol’s Clearlake Division recently arrested a driver suspected of driving under the influence following a hit-and-run traffic collision in Lake County.

Following a localized search of the surrounding area, patrol officers located the suspect vehicle and conducted an enforcement stop.
During the initial contact, officers observed physical signs of impairment from the driver. Officers subsequently conducted standardized field sobriety tests on the individual to evaluate their ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
