Milpitas Police Arrest Man in Connection with Multiple Bay Area Burglaries
MILPITAS, CA — “A burglary investigation that started in late June has led to the arrest of a suspect believed to be connected to multiple burglaries throughout the Bay Area.
The investigation began after a burglary occurred at Stratford School on Great Mall Parkway. As our officers investigated the case, they uncovered two additional burglaries at the school that appeared to be connected. Through the diligent work of our patrol officers and Community Service Officers, they quickly identified a 44-year-old suspect from San Jose.
As the investigation progressed, our detectives worked closely with surrounding law enforcement agencies and determined the suspect was also linked to multiple school burglaries throughout the Bay Area.
Earlier this week, officers received an alert that the suspect’s vehicle had returned to Milpitas. Officers quickly found the vehicle near the 1400-block of Falcon Drive and safely took the suspect into custody.
The suspect, who was on CDCR parole for burglary, was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on multiple burglary charges, a parole hold, and providing false identification to officers.”
