VICTORVILLE, CA – On Sunday, June 14, 2026, at approximately 11:27 a.m., deputies from the Victorville station responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 12000 block of Osprey Lane.
Upon arrival, deputies located 19-year-old Anysha Mott, a resident of Victorville, on the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies initiated lifesaving measures at the scene until medical personnel arrived. Mott was subsequently transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
According to authorities, the unknown suspect or suspects fled the area in a vehicle before law enforcement arrived on the scene.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail responded to the location and assumed control of the ongoing murder investigation.
