Desert Hot Springs Police Arrest Probationer for Sex Offender Registration Violation
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA — Detectives and patrol officers with the Desert Hot Springs Police Department arrested an individual on June 18, 2026, for probation and sex offender registration violations.
The individual taken into custody was actively on probation for the possession of obscene child material. According to the department, law enforcement officers determined that the probationer was also in violation of mandatory registration requirements as a sex offender.
The arrest was carried out as part of the department’s active enforcement operations to verify adherence to probation conditions and sex offender registration laws.
