San Jose Police Confiscate Loaded Firearms During Traffic Stop
SAN JOSE, CA (May 4, 2026) —“Yesterday evening, SJPD Patrol Officers working Foothill Division conducted a vehicle enforcement stop for a traffic violation that led to the discovery of two loaded firearms. Two subjects from out of town, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old, each had a firearm concealed on their persons. In addition, the 18-year-old suspect had a bindle of illegal narcotics hidden in his socks. Officers subsequently located multiple rounds of ammunition in the vehicle. We love getting visitors in our city, but not ones illegally possessing firearms.”
