Visalia Police Apprehend Five Suspects and Condemn Residence Following Narcotics Search Warrant
TULARE, CA — On April 22, 2026, the Visalia Police Department’s Narcotics Unit, in coordination with several specialized divisions, executed a search warrant that resulted in the arrest of five individuals and the condemnation of a residence.
The operation took place at approximately 8:19 a.m. in the 3200 block of West Coppola. Members of the Narcotics Unit were assisted by the HOPE Team, the Property Crimes Unit, and the Special Enforcement Unit. During the search of the premises, officers recovered quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl, along with ammunition and various items indicating the illegal sale of narcotics.
Due to the internal environment of the house, Visalia Code Enforcement was summoned to the scene. Following an inspection, the residence was officially declared uninhabitable.
Five suspects were taken into custody and booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Detention Facility:
James Derrick Jr. (56): Charged with possession of narcotics for sale and operating/maintaining a drug house.
Stacy Burns (29): Charged with possession of narcotics, operating/maintaining a drug house, and several outstanding warrants.
Janette Bergantz (53): Charged with operating/maintaining a drug house and outstanding warrants.
Patrick Greer (39): Charged with possession of narcotic paraphernalia and outstanding warrants.
Kevin Buckelew (53): Arrested for outstanding warrants.
