TULARE, CA – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives have initiated an investigation following the discovery of a deceased individual in Earlimart.
On April 16, 2026, shortly before 7:30 p.m., deputies responded to the intersection of Avenue 56 and Highway 99 after receiving a report regarding a person down. Upon arrival, law enforcement located a male subject who was confirmed to be deceased.
The specific cause of death has not yet been established. Following the initial discovery, homicide detectives assumed control of the case and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. The Sheriff’s Office has requested that anyone with information pertinent to the investigation contact their department.
