Norwalk: Police Reportedly Seize $500K in Stolen Catalytic Converters

NORWALK, CA — “Baldwin Park PD detectives, alongside regional partners, recovered approximately 1,800 stolen catalytic converters during a major operation in Norwalk. The street value of the recovered stolen Catalytic converters is estimated to be over $500,000. It’s also estimated that it cost between $1500 to $2000 to replace a catalytic converter.

This months-long investigation led to multiple arrests, the seizure of vehicles, and the disruption of an organized theft operation impacting communities across the region.

The investigation remains active, and additional arrests are expected.”
