Fairfield Police Reportedly Arrest Juvenile Burglary Suspects
FAIRFIELD, CA — “On March 17 at approximately 1:25 p.m., an alert vehicle owner contacted the Fairfield Police Department after discovering several juveniles burglarizing his vehicle in the 2200 block of Peach Tree Drive.
The four suspects immediately fled as officers and drone pilots assigned to the Real-Time Intelligence Center responded to the call.
Officer Del Monte located one suspect running in the 2100 block of N. Texas Street, and he quickly detained the suspect. A second suspect was detained by Officer Amavisca in the 100 block of Pacific Avenue. Drone pilots then searched the surrounding area and located two additional suspects hiding behind a dumpster near N. Texas Street and Pacific Avenue. Officers were directed to their location, and both were safely detained.
In total, four juvenile suspects were taken into custody, and property stolen during the burglary was returned to the victim. Because this case involves juveniles, we are unable to release their names or any drone footage captured during the incident.”
