Three Arrested After Armed Robbery at Visalia Mall Parking Structure

VISALIA, CA — On March 14th, 2026, at approximately 11 a.m., officers with the Visalia Police Department responded to reports of an armed robbery in the parking structure of the Visalia Mall. According to investigators, two individuals were targeted while attempting to sell clothing they had previously listed for sale online. The victims had arranged to meet a prospective buyer at the mall location to finalize the transaction.

Upon arrival, the victims were approached by three male suspects. During the encounter, one of the suspects produced a handgun and seized approximately $1,000 worth of clothing before the group fled the scene. The investigation was subsequently managed by the Violent Crimes Unit, with assistance provided by Patrol officers, the HOPE Team, the Gang Suppression Unit, and Property Crimes detectives.

Law enforcement successfully located the suspect vehicle at a residence in Visalia. When the vehicle later departed the residence with three occupants, officers conducted a traffic stop. A search of the vehicle yielded the stolen clothing and a P80 “ghost gun,” a firearm without a serial number. Following the stop, all three occupants were taken into custody.

The suspects have been identified as 19-year-old DeAnthony Todd, 18-year-old Jamal Miller, and a 16-year-old juvenile. In a follow-up action, officers served a search warrant at a Visalia residence, where they recovered additional stolen property linked to the case. Following the incident, the Visalia Police Department issued a safety reminder advising the public to utilize well-lit public areas or designated safe exchange locations, such as police stations, when conducting online transactions.
