Police Arrest Three Juveniles Following School Threat Investigation at Roseville High School
ROSEVILLE, CA — “On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at approximately 9 a.m., the Roseville Police Department was notified by staff at Roseville High School regarding a reported threat of violence directed at the school.
Due to the serious nature of the reported threat, School Resource Officers, Threat Assessment Detectives, and investigators from the Department’s Detective Division immediately initiated a comprehensive investigation to determine the credibility and source of the threats.
The investigation was conducted in close collaboration with school administrators and the school district, including the implementation of a full Behavioral Threat Assessment process to ensure the safety of students, staff, and the community.
Through investigative efforts, detectives identified three juveniles, ranging in age from 12 to 16 years old, as primary suspects in connection with the threats that were communicated via social media.
Following the service of search warrants and the completion of multiple interviews, the following arrests were made:
• 16-year-old male, student at Roseville High School – Arrested for Conspiracy to Commit Murder (PC 182/187), and Felony Possession of Child Pornography (311.11 PC).
• 16-year-old male, out of Sacramento County – Arrested for Felony Child Endangerment (PC 273(a)(1)), Felony Conspiracy (PC 182), and Felony Possession of Child Pornography (311.11 PC).
• 12-year-old male out of Sacramento County – Arrested for Felony Criminal Threats (PC 422) and Conspiracy (PC 182).
All suspects were taken into custody and booked into Placer County Juvenile Hall without incident.
Due to the active and ongoing nature of this investigation, and because the suspects are juveniles, no additional information will be released at this time.
