Proactive Enforcement Contact Leads to Drug and Burglary-Related Arrest
AUBURN, CA — FEBRUARY 23RD 2026
“During a recent enforcement stop for vehicle code violations, Auburn Police officers arrested a passenger after locating illegal narcotics and items commonly associated with property crimes.
Officers conducted an investigation, which resulted in the seizure of controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, and suspected burglary tools.
The individual, identified as Michael P. Davis, 45, of Roseville, was booked on multiple drug- and property-related charges, including committing a felony while released on bail.
Why proactive enforcement matters:
Routine enforcement contacts often uncover illegal drugs, stolen property, or tools used to commit crimes. These proactive efforts help prevent future thefts and drug-related offenses before members of our community become victims.”
