Visalia Police Seek Suspect in Walmart Theft and Law Enforcement Impersonation Case

VISALIA, CA — The Visalia Police Department Property Crimes Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect involved in a theft and impersonation incident at the Walmart located on Noble Avenue. According to department reports, the individual arrived at the business in a white utility truck that was observed to be operating without license plates.

The suspect reportedly parked the vehicle near the garden section of the retail store before entering the building through the garden center entrance. Once inside the establishment, the individual selected various items, including men’s jeans, home decor, automotive products, and tools. After obtaining the merchandise, the suspect exited the store without providing payment for the items. When approached regarding the unpaid goods, the individual allegedly presented a badge and claimed to be a member of law enforcement.

The suspect subsequently left the premises in the aforementioned white utility truck. Detectives with the Property Crimes Unit are currently investigating the matter and have released surveillance video images of the suspect and the susepct vehicle and have requested that anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect contact their office at 559-713-4720.
