Juvenile Arrested for Attempted Murder Following Oceanside Stabbing
OCEANSIDE, CA — Officers with the Oceanside Police Department responded to reports of a stabbing on January 29, 2026, in the vicinity of Seagaze Drive and Cleveland Street. The incident occurred at approximately 9:20 p.m. and resulted in the injury of a male juvenile.
Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement personnel located the victim, who had sustained multiple stab wounds. Medical personnel provided initial assistance before the victim was transported via air ambulance to a regional hospital to receive treatment for his injuries.
During the subsequent investigation, detectives obtained and reviewed security video footage recorded in the area of the incident. Based on the evidence gathered from the video and further investigative work, officers identified a juvenile male as a suspect in the case.
The identified suspect was subsequently located and taken into custody by the Oceanside Police Department. Following his arrest, the individual was booked into Juvenile Hall. The charges filed against the suspect are related to attempted murder.
