“On the morning of January 26, 2026, El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office Detectives arrested Paul Varoff, of El Dorado Hills, and a former Oakridge High School band teacher of more 30 years. Varoff was charged with five counts of PC 287(b)(1) – Oral Copulation of a Person Under 18 Counts; and five counts of PC 289(h) – Sexual Penetration of a Person under 18 Counts.
Varoff was booked into the El Dorado County Jail and his bail is set at “No Bail”. The El Dorado County District Attorney has filed the case, and Mr. Varoff is set to be arraigned in court on Wednesday January 28 at 1 pm.
