Murrieta Police Launch Homicide Investigation After Resident Found Deceased
MURRIETA, CA – On January 13, 2026, the Murrieta Police Department initiated a homicide investigation following the discovery of a deceased individual at a local residential complex. Officers were dispatched at approximately 9:13 a.m. to respond to a call for service at The Arbors at California Oaks apartments, situated at 24375 Jackson Avenue in Murrieta.
Upon entering the residence, responding officers located an adult male who was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have since identified the decedent as 30-year-old Aaron Parr, a resident of Murrieta. According to the Murrieta Police Department, preliminary information gathered during the initial phase of the response led officials to classify the circumstances of the death as a homicide.
The investigation into the incident is currently active and ongoing.
