VISALIA, CA – Officers with the Visalia Police Department responded to a report of a possible vehicle burglary at 9:42 a.m. during the holiday season. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officials located four adult individuals inside a parked vehicle. During the encounter, officers observed the occupants using substances inside the vehicle, a practice commonly referred to as “hotboxing.”

In the course of the investigation, one passenger, identified as 51-year-old Moses Hernandez, allegedly attempted to discard several items. Authorities recovered 5.2 grams of methamphetamine from the scene, along with a digital scale, plastic baggies, and drug paraphernalia including pipes.
