Two Arrested for Allegedly Running Drug Sales Operation Out of Sonora Gold Lodge

SONORA, CA — “On December 10, 2025, after a week-long investigation, officers from the Sonora Police Department, with assistance from the Tuolumne Narcotics Team, executed a search warrant at the Sonora Gold Lodge.

The investigation started after Sonora PD received information regarding suspected drug activity in the area. Officers followed up and observed behavior consistent with ongoing drug-related activity at the establishment.

During the service of the search warrant, officers located 45-year-old Terri Lynn Smith, and 59-year-old Keith Louis Dolinshek, out of Sonora. Both subjects were detained, and officers conducted a search of the rooms they occupied. A search of both rooms uncovered firearms, ammunition, drug paraphernalia, a significant amount of suspected fentanyl pills, and drug packaging material consistent with sales.

Both Dolinshek and Smith were transported to the Tuolumne County Jail. Dolinshek was booked on felony drug and weapon charges, while Smith was booked on misdemeanor and felony drug charges.

It’s important to remember that the individuals mentioned in this report were arrested based on suspicion of the crimes they’ve been charged with. All such charges are mere allegations, and all defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty.”
