35 Year Old Man Arrested for Suspected Sexual Assault of a 13-year-old
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA — “On July 26, 2025, a woman called the Sheriff’s Office to report that her boyfriend, Orlando Guidry, 35, of Sacramento, just sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl at their residence. The girl was a friend of the woman’s daughter and was at the residence for a sleepover. The girl told deputies that she woke up with her pants halfway down and Guidry was on top of her, kissing her and touching her body. Guidry then continued his sexual assault of the victim to include additional sex acts. The girl woke up her friend, and they both woke up the friend’s mother, who called law enforcement.
Guidry fled the scene before deputies arrived. Later, he made some admissions to the girl’s family, apologizing and saying he was drunk at the time.
Deputies arranged for transportation for the girl to the Bridging Evidence Assessment and Resource (BEAR) Center for an evidentiary examination, and the girl was later interviewed by Forensic Interview Specialists at the Sacramento Special Assault Forensic Evaluation (SAFE) Center.
Child Abuse Bureau Detectives led the investigation and obtained an arrest warrant for Guidry for three counts of Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a Child Under 14. Detectives from the Major Crimes Bureau located and arrested Guidry on December 16, 2025, and booked him at the Sacramento County Main Jail. Guidry’s bail was set at $500,000.
