SAN FRANCISCO, CA — December 3rd 2025 — San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) officers located a deceased male in the roadway near 6th and Natoma streets during a patrol shortly after midnight on November 30, 2025. At approximately 12:15 a.m., officers observed the individual and, upon contact, noted the victim was suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers immediately began rendering aid until paramedics arrived to take over lifesaving measures. Despite the efforts of the emergency responders, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The SFPD Homicide Detail was subsequently dispatched and is overseeing the investigation.
The investigation progressed rapidly, leading to an arrest the following day.
On December 1, 2025, at approximately 1:00 p.m., personnel assigned to the Drug Market Agency Coordination Center (DMACC) observed an individual matching the description of the homicide suspect in the vicinity of Market and Jones streets. Officers successfully detained the subject without incident.
Investigators established probable cause, leading to the arrest of 48-year-old Derral Robi of San Francisco. Robi was transported and booked into San Francisco County Jail on multiple charges, including murder PC 187(a) and felon in possession of a firearm PC 29800(a)(1).
The SFPD confirms that while an arrest has been made, this investigation remains open and active.
