Man Arrested for Alleged Assault at West Plaza Park in Healdsburg
HEALDSBURG, CA — “On November 25, 2025, officers were notified of a violent assault that had occurred in West Plaza Park. Responding officers determined that the victim had sustained great bodily injury as a result of the assault. Officers located the suspect within the park and took him into custody without delay.
While making that arrest, officers observed an individual in the area who had recently been released from jail on Post-Release Community Supervision (PRCS). The subject was on PRCS for a violent assault on a Healdsburg Police Officer in 2023. Officers detained the individual and conducted a search pursuant to his PRCS terms. During the detention, the subject briefly resisted officers’ efforts to detain him. Officers recovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia from his jacket. He was arrested on charges of 11377 HS, 11364 HS, 148(a)(1) PC, and for violating the conditions of his PRCS.
Approximately one hour later, officers returned to West Plaza Park for a report of an additional assault. Officers located the suspect fleeing the area and took him into custody for a violation of 242 PC.”
