Oakhurst Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Tinder Date – Authorities Believe There May Be Other Victims
OAKHURST, CA — Madera County authorities have arrested a man for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman he met through Tinder.
According to a press release by the Madera County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded a report of sexual assault in Oakhurst on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
Authorities allege that the suspect, whom they have identified as 20-year-old Enrique Vasquez of Fowler, sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman. The victim reportedly told deputies that she had been assaulted more than once during the encounter.
After obtaining and carrying out search warrants, authorities arrested Vasquez.
