Marysville Police Arrest Woman for Allegedly Stabbing Her Uncle

MARYSVILLE, CA  — “At approximately 5:13 a.m., Marysville Police Department officers were dispatched to the 800 block of 9th Street regarding a reported stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers contacted the victim who reported being stabbed by his niece, Brittany Keeton. The suspect had fled the area prior to officers’ arrival. The victim was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.

An immediate area search was conducted, and information was shared with the surrounding law enforcement agencies. The case was then turned over to the Marysville Police Department Detective Unit for further investigation.

Later this morning, Keeton was located in Yuba City and taken into custody without incident. Keeton was booked into the Yuba County jail for attempted homicide and assault with a deadly weapon.”
