FOLSOM, CA — “On June 28, 2025, at approximately 3:40 p.m., Folsom Police Officers were dispatched to a medical aid call in the 700 block of Gold Lake Drive.
Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive adult male.
Despite life-saving efforts, the individual was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives responded and assumed the investigation. Through video surveillance and witness statements it was determined that an altercation occurred during an event held at Folsom State Slickers (City Slickers).
The altercation turned physical on the bar’s outdoor patio and resulted in the death of the adult male.
Detectives identified the aggressor as 43-year-old Dylan Pierce of Citrus Heights and obtained an arrest warrant for manslaughter.
Pierce was taken into custody August 6 outside his residence and booked at the Sacramento County Main Jail.”
