Yuba County Authorities Arrest Collins Lake Shooting Suspect and Alleged Getaway Driver

MARYSVILLE, CA — Authorities in Yuba County have arrested two suspects in connection with a shooting at Collins Lake Campground this past weekend.

According to a press release by the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office, deputies pulled over a vehicle believed to be associated with the shooting along 3rd Street in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 14.

Authorities identified the suspects as 20-year-old TC Phienemanh of Marysville and 20-year-old Aleta Kirk of Redding.

Phienemanh was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, carrying a concealed weapon, and carrying a loaded firearm in public. Kirk was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and being an accessory after the fact.
