Undercover Detectives Arrest Redding Man for Allegedly Trying to Solicit Minor

REDDING, CA — “Throughout the month of June, the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit had an undercover decoy posing as a 14-year-old girl on an online platform. The undercover decoy had been chatting with a 31-year-old male, later identified as Bronson Remington Ruzicka, of Redding.
Ruzicka began sending explicit messages to the undercover decoy via messaging. Ruzicka then began messaging the undercover decoy arranging for her to meet with him for the purposes of having sexual relations. As a result of this investigation, a Felony Arrest Warrant was obtained on June 25, 2025.
