Rohnert Park Man Arrested for Alleged Indecent Exposure
ROHNERT PARK , CA — “On Thursday, May 29, 2025, at approximately 4:08 PM, an 11-year old juvenile, the victim, walking the Crane Creek Trail near Emma Court heard someone yell from the bushes. She looked into the bushes and saw 18-year-old Rohnert Park resident, Brendon Ambrose, with his genitals exposed.
The juvenile notified their mother, who in turn called Rohnert Park Police. Responding officers contacted the victim and their mother, and located Ambrose, who matched the suspect description, walking near where the incident occurred. When an officer tried to contact Ambrose, he fled on foot through the creek and ignored officer’s orders to stop running. He was apprehended and detained after a short foot pursuit. Neither Ambrose nor investigating officers were injured.
The victim positively identified Ambrose as the suspect who exposed his genitals. Ambrose was booked into the Sonoma County Jail for indecent exposure and delaying/resisting an officer.
There is no ongoing threat to the community, but it serves as a good reminder for community members traveling the creek paths to be aware of their surroundings. Anyone seeing criminal or unusual activity is encouraged to call 911 to report what they see.
The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety is sorry the juvenile had to experience this disgusting incident, but we are proud that she was observant and provided detailed information that led to Ambrose’s arrest.”
