El Dorado County Sheriff’s detectives began an investigation related to a variety of sexual assault allegations that occurred in multiple counties.
On April 09, 2025, Adam Blankenship, 44, of Rescue, was taken into custody for sexual assault charges, to include illegal recording without consent, digital penetration by force, digital penetration without the ability to consent, attempted rape, sexual battery, and continuous molestation of a child under 14 years.
He is currently being held in the El Dorado County Jail without bail.
Based on the information and evidence obtained during this investigation, Detectives believe there may be additional victims who have yet to be identified.
