Kern County Sheriff’s Office Reportedly Seizes Six Pounds of Methamphetamine

“On January 8, 2025, deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Gang Suppression Unit completed a traffic stop on a silver sedan in the area of Ashe Road and Ming Avenue.
During the investigation, deputies located approximately six pounds of methamphetamine, large sums of US currency, and other indicia for the sales of narcotics inside the vehicle. Deputies continued their investigation by executing a search warrant in the 2800 block of North Half Moon Drive. At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies seized approximately six pounds of methamphetamine, over $ 8,000.00 in US currency, and a loaded firearm.
The driver of the vehicle, Michael Anglin (50), was arrested and booked into the Lerdo Justice Facility for the following charges: felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession and transportation of a controlled substance for sales, possession of a controlled substance while armed and maintaining a property for the sales of a controlled substance.”
