Traffic Stop in San Mateo Reportedly Leads to Discovery of Narcotics, Ghost Gun

San Mateo police reportedly arrested a man after discovering narcotics and a ghost gun in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
On the night of Sept. 2, police conducted a traffic stop after seeing a Honda Accord allegedly run a stop sign at Monte Diablo Avenue and North Bayshore Boulevard.
During the stop, officers learned the driver’s license had been suspended and that he was also a convicted felon.
Further investigation indicated the presence of illegal substances inside the vehicle.
Officers conducted a K9 search of the vehicle, reportedly discovering narcotics and a loaded, unregistered Glock pistol.
The driver, identified as Sebastian Flores-Lavine, was arrested on multiple charges related to firearm possession and drug offenses. He was taken to San Mateo County jail for booking, police said.
