Vallejo Police Arrest Suspect in Connection with Homicide on Garnet Circle

“On March 16, 2024, at approximately 12:21 P.M., Vallejo Police Department (VPD) officers responded to a call for service to assist the Solano County Major Crimes Task Force in conducting a follow-up investigation at a residence located on the 2000 block of Garnet Circle.

Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male deceased at the scene. The Vallejo Police Department Detective Division took over the investigation and identified David Ochoa Magana, a 39-year-old resident of Vallejo, as the suspect responsible for this homicide. The Solano County District Attorney’s Office charged David Magana, who was already in custody at the Solano County Jail, for the murder based on the evidence presented by the detectives.
