“Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Raley’s in North Auburn, leading to the discovery of 1/2 ounce of fentanyl during a vehicle search. Subsequently, our special operations detectives responded to the scene and obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s residence based on the evidence found. Upon searching the residence, deputies and detectives uncovered 4.5 ounces of methamphetamine and 5.5 ounces of fentanyl along with evidence of the suspect selling these drugs.

As a result, 42-year-old Raymond Reyes of Auburn was arrested for possession of these items with the intent to sell. This successful operation highlights the collaboration between our patrol and investigations teams in removing dangerous drugs from the streets.”
