Bay Area man arrested, accused of extorting minors for sexually explicit material

A Bay Area man was recently arrested for allegedly extorting sexually explicit material from a minor over social media.

22-year-old Aidan Worley of Livermore was identified by Internet Crimes Against Children Unit investigators as the suspect in a case in which a man, going by the name “Jack Lucas” online, had reportedly extorted sexually explicit material — including pictures and video — from an underage victim.

Investigators served a search warrant at Worley’s Ann Court home on August 19, where they seized multiple electronic devices, police said.

Worley was also arrested that day, and booked on suspicion of communicating with a minor to produce child pornography, sending harmful matter to a child with intent to seduce, possession of child pornography, and other charges. He remains in custody.

Investigators believe Worley has additional victims and are encouraging anyone with information relevant to the case to contact the San Francisco PD Special Victims Unit at (415) 553 – 9225. The investigation is ongoing.
