Man arrested after authorities reportedly find loaded, unregistered gun in vehicle

“On Sunday, 7-10-22, at approximately 2350 hours, Deputies from our Winterhaven Sub-Station conducted a traffic stop in the area of Picacho Road and Agnes Road, in reference to a vehicle equipment violation.

Through further investigation, Deputies located a loaded 9mm Glock 43 handgun. A records check was conducted using the serial number located on the firearm.

Dispatch later came back with a return that the firearm was unregistered. The subject was arrested for carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm, 25850 (c) (6) PC & carrying a concealed firearm, 25400 PC.”
